Burdan, Eleanor Louise "Pete" (Rhoades), 83, retired McConnell PX Supply clerk, passed away, Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She was born in Valley Center, Kansas to Clarence McKee Rhoades and Edna (Baird) Rhoades. Eleanor was an avid crocheter and loved doing crafts. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Rhoades of Wichita; children Edward "Buster" Watkins of Valley Center, Marilyn Papes of Surprise, Arizona and Dewayne Griffith of California; grandchildren Joseph, Nicole, Michelle, Richard Kathie; great grandchildren Harley, Jessica, Sierra, Arrianna, Mackenzie, Nikki, Joey, Dawit, Logan, Wyatt, Garrett; great great grandchild Maddin; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Burdan, sister Vera Ashley, parents Clarence and Edna Rhoades. Private family services. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
