WICHITA, KANSAS
EDWIN RAY EVANS
, 85, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. He was born in Milano, Texas. Edwin married the love of his life, Peggy, in Robert Lee, Texas. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He and his family then moved to Great Bend, Kansas where they settled until moving to Wichita. He is survived by his wife of 65 yrs, Peggy Evans; children, Edwin (Lisa) Evans, Pamela (Ron) Rasmssen and Valorie (Paul Jr) Pfannenstiel; grandchildren Michael Evans, Wesley (Annie) Evans, Tyler (Megan) Rasmussen, Travis (Sasha) Rasmussen, Toby (Megan) Rasmussen, Andrew (Ashlea) Pfannenstiel and Whitney Pfannenstiel; great grandchildren, Mastema, Onida, Demetria, Emily, Tiana, Damian, Mattyx, Maxton, Brayseh, Marley, Kaya, Alakai, Landon, Avery and Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents Horace Evans, Bertha and Emerson Coldiron, brothers Homer Coldiron, Bill Evans and Roy Evans. Family services will be held in Robert Lee, Texas where he will be laid to rest. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
