EDWARD  HOWARD  CAPPS,  JR. , 68, loving dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away quietly and was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was born July 3, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to Edward Howard Capps, Sr. and Jaunita Ruth (Snyder) Capps. He was raised in Valley Center where he attended school and participated in sports and community activities. His love for mechanics led him into his own business working for others and himself.  He absolutely loved his family and enjoyed all the family events when they were together. He is survived by his mom Jaunita Capps of Valley Center; children Lisa Rey, Lonnie Capps and Larry Capps, of Valley Center; grandchildren; brother Dale Capps of Valley Center; sister Debra Sizemore of Valley Center; numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Howard Capps Sr, brother Steven Capps, sisters Linda Highfill and Karen Ruth Capps. Private Family Service was held Sunday, May 6, 2018.
