Safarik, Edna Marie (Thimesch), 88, loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012. She was born in St. Mary's, Kansas to George Joseph Thimesch and Eva Marie (Ossweiler) Thimesch. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Safarik; children, Gene Safarik of Farmington, MO, Allan Safarik of Valley Center, Linda (Bill Ueeck of Corpus Christi, TX, Elaine Safarik of Carrollton, TX and Leslie Safarik of Wichita; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Frances Seely and Patricia Duren, both of Wichita. She is preceded in death by her sons, Larry Safarik and David Safarik, and her parents, George and Eva Thimesch. Visitation 5-6 p.m., Rosary 6 p.m., Friday, November 16; Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, November 17, held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon, Wichita, Ks.
