EDNA  IRENE  (MCGHEE)  DOBSON

86, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edward G. McGhee and Irene Faye (Robbins) McGhee.

Edna Dobson was a devout Christian that loved the Lord. She was a loving mother that would always make time for her children and loved to spoil those grandchildren (especially with sleep overs at Grandma's)! She was involved with various church activities like calling on shut-ins, prayer warrior and bible studies.  She enjoyed reading, painting, movies, trips with family/friends and writing poems/rhymes.  Her smile was contagious and would light up any room she entered.

Edna is survived by her children Cameron Dierker of Quincy, Illinois, Kathy Sly of Maywood, Missouri, Renee (Greg) Abel of Wichita, Kansas, Shane Bryan of Ozark, Missouri and Wade Bryan of Marshfield, Missouri; grandsons Joshua Abel, Jacob Abel, both of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Bryan of Ozark, Missouri; father of Shane and Wade: Robert Bryan; many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Dobson, son Michael Dierker, parents Edward and Irene McGhee.

Memorials may be designated in her memory to Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Ks 67204.

Services will be held on 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 with visitation before the service at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside following at Mayfield Cemetery, Mayfield, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at  www.bakerfhvc.com
