Webber, Eddie Eugene, 69, joker, guitar player, amateur auctioneer, pilot, music maker and friend, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013. Eddie spent the last 35 years of his life married to his main squeeze, Jeannie Webber whom he would take on long motorcycle rides, camping trips, or simply have her sit next to him in the living room while watching reruns of MASH on the television. Eddie also adored his children, Lori (Patrick) Kraus, Tammy (Rob) Leis, Matthew (Kimberly) Webber, Michael Webber, Kerry (John) Michael, Lena (Ian) Minaert; and especially his 16 grandchildren, Christian Leis, Isabel Leis, Jordan Webber, Natalie Webber, Lilian Webber, Stacey Kraus, Jesse Kraus, Katie Kraus, Benjamin Kraus, David Michael, Jessica Michael, Joshua Michael, Sarah Minaert, Emily Minaert and Sofia Minaert; 6 great grandchildren, Kali Merritt, Bella Michael, Serenity Selfridge, Hannah Selfridge, Kylie Michael and Gabriel Gould; and his sister, Velda (John) Bartel and brother, Don Webber. Eddie spent his life in love with the skies. It is said by some that he was born with wings but no one ever really had proof. Eddie spent four years in the Air Force, and then went on to TWA and Beechcraft for a combined 40 years before finally retiring at Flight Safety after 4 years. His time at Beechcraft was spent being an airplane crash and safety investigator. Eddie's hobby and passion in life was flying, however, Eddie's main love in life was the one woman that he couldn't get enough of and that was Jeannie. He loved the Lord and is preceded in death by his grandson Luke Kraus, father Don Webber, mother Helen Estridge, and sister Diane Chalk.
