Eddie G. Jennings (1947 - 2024)

Eddie Gaylord Jennings, 76, of Haysville, entered fully into the presence of our Lord and Savior on January 18, 2024.  He was born in Little Rock, AR on January 29th, 1947, to Lewis Thomas Jennings and Claudia M'rhea (Shipman) Jennings. He was a graduate of West High School, Wichita. After graduation he served in the US Navy. His career as a mechanic carried over into his great love for race cars and drag racing which he greatly enjoyed helping others by being part of the crew.

Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JoAnn "Jody" Goodwin; daughter, Djuana Wishon; sons Ricky and Danny Goodwin; sister, Sharon Meeks; brothers, Tommy and Patrick Jennings.

He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Goodwin, Vanessa Israelson; son, Roy Jordan; sisters, Susan Forrester, Cheryl Cox, Debra Slapar, Pamela Jennings; brothers, Michael, Phillip, and Donald Jennings; various nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
