Dwayne Arnold Deckard , 54, former Automotive Finance Director passed away on Wednesday, November 12 2014. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Lowell A. Deckard and Leta Rose (Hughes) Deckard. He was raised in the Park City and Valley Center area. Dwayne was a 1978 graduate of Valley Center High School. He met the love of his life Elizabeth Perel and they were married June 1, 1985. He enjoyed life and treated everyone with dignity and respect. He loved his family and friends deeply, enjoying every moment with them. Dwayne is survived by his wife Elizabeth Deckard; children Rachel Deckard and James Deckard, all of Wichita; brother James (Dianne) Deckard of Marquette; mother-in-laws, Eugenie Perel of Wichita and Tula Perel of Stillwater; brother-in-law Tod (Shirley) King of Wichita; nephews and nieces, Jeremy (Amy) Deckard of Topeka, Chad (Teresita) Deckard of Assaria, Charles King and Samantha King, of Wichita; a great nephew and great niece; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Leta Rose Deckard, father-in-law William Perel, sister-in-laws Catherine Perel and Rebecca Bright Deckard.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Monday, November 17 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 18 at University United Methodist Church, 2220 N.
