DUANE RALPH DOUGLAS, 70, passed away on Friday, March 24, was born in Wichita, Kansas to Ralph S. and Helen (Houdek) Douglas. He was a 1964 graduate of East High School, Wichita. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 – 1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a Tool and Dye Maker and retired from Boeing Aircraft. Duane was a sweet and gentle man who enjoyed reading, gardening, bow hunting and skiing. He loved spending time with family, and is survived by his sisters, Jan Douglas Kelty and Kay Douglas Swanson and her husband Lonnie, all of Wichita; nieces Kathryn, Connie, Stacie and Stephanie; 8 grandnieces and nephews, and 4 great nieces and nephew; special friends Gary and Silka Bulleigh; many other family and friends.
