Douglas Forrest Dust, 88, Dust's Hardware owner and operator, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Pete Dust and Thelma Lucille (Thomas) Dust. He was a U. S. Navy and World War II Veteran. He met and married the love of his life Mary Louise Barbour. He worked at Cessna Aircraft and was a Cockpit Instrument Repairman. Doug is survived by his children Joan (Walt) Briggs, Doug C. Dust, Duane (Carol) Douglas, Bryon (Mary) Douglas and Myrna Herring (Mike Hamilton); 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary, sons Gregory A. Dust and Charles A. Douglas, and parents Pete and Thelma Dust. In lieu of flowers memorials to Good Shepherd Hospice, 439 N. McLean Ste 100, Wichita, Ks 67203.
