Dorothea "Dottie" I. Heinemann , born September 19, 1934 in Admire, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at age 82. She is survived by her sister, Marietta Rose & three children, David Reese and his wife Glenda Reese, Sheree' Heinemann & her spouse Connie Kersten, & Marvin Heinemann, Jr. Kim Rose, niece, Larry & Stephen Rose, nephews. Three grandchildren: Shawna Heinemann, Nicole Reese-Saunders, and Aaron Michael Reese. Many great grandchildren. Dottie graduated from East High School in Wichita, Ks in 1952. She married Marvin Reese and had her three children. Her second marriage was to Earl Heinemann, Jr. and they later retired to Harlingen, Texas where she was an assistant to a golf professional. Dottie was an Entrepreneur and the owner of Dottie's Fashions and The Piccadilly Shop in Dodge City and Jetmore, Kansas. She was active in the Chamber of Commerce and was a Broker in Real Estate. An active and successful business woman. She passed peacefully with her family at her side. The family requests donations to the Lifeline Animal Placement & Protection, in Wichita, Ks., on her behalf. This is a no-kill facility for pets. Memorial 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 17, at the Medicalodge of Goddard. Service 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 18 at the Dunlap Cemetery, Dunlap, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge.
