DOROTHY ADELINE (SWINK) SCHOEMAKER, "DOTTIE", 54, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt, was carried home in the arms of Jesus on April 25, 2016. She was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Howard, Sr. and Connie Swink. She was a graduate of Edgewood Senior High School, Edgewood, Maryland and Cowley County Community College, Arkansas City, Kansas. Dottie was a Child Care and Foster Care Provider to so many children. She not only ministered to the care of the children but to the many hearts of the parents, even mentoring single moms. Her doors were always open as well as her heart. Dottie was full of joy, she loved laughter, singing and making others smile. She was her family's number one cheerleader and involved with everything her kids were in at the Maize Schools. She loved her family deeply and will be missed greatly. She is survived by her husband Doug Schoemaker, children Seth (Payton) Jackson, Josh (Amie) Jackson, Anngela Schoemaker and Daniel Schoemaker; grandchildren Luigi Jovanny Flores, Austin and Zachary Schroeder-Jackson, Kaydence Jackson, Talan Jacks, Maddox Jackson and Baby Jackson; parents Howard and Connie Swink of Cocoa, Florida; brother Howard (Kim) Swink, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; sisters Catherine Nocar of Columbus, Ohio and Mary (Scott) Valis of Street, Maryland; many nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at the Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas.
