DORIS  GLENELLA  (REED)  GIDDEON, 81, she was carried to her heavenly home on April 10, 2016.  She was born to Walter M. Reed and Delia (White) Reed. Doris was a graduate of North High School and Friends University, Wichita, Kansas. She worked at the State of Kansas Department of Corrections. She treasured and loved being with her family. She is survived by her husband Bennie Giddeon; son Douglas (Kay) Giddeon of Frisco, Texas, and daughter Teresa Giddeon of Longmont, Colorado; grandchildren Spencer (Danielle) Burnham, Skyler (Ashleigh) Burnham, Marinne Burnham, Austin Burnham and Amanda (Wes) Kerr; great grandchildren, Joshua, Emma and Benjamin; brother Philip Reed of Mesquite, Texas; sisters Dorothy 'Dot' Maslen of Arkansas City, Darlene Morgan of Wichita, and Judy (Don) Fell of Wichita; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter Lee Reed and sister Joyce Borders. Services 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita. Graveside following the service at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E. 13 ^th St. N., Wichita. Memorials may be designated in her memory to the Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N.
