Boerger, Doris (Allen) , 99, homemaker and farm wife, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was born in Warren, Tennessee to Harry Myrtle Allen and Anna Melissa (Bunner) Allen. She was a graduate of Bentley High School, Bentley, Kansas. She is survived by her daughters Carol (David) Jacob, Marilyn Hanna and daughter-in-law Charlene Boerger, sons Kenneth Boerger and Duane (Georgeann) Boerger; grandchildren, Steven Jacob, Rebeckah Boerger, Dale Hanna, Rod Boerger, Kelly Boerger, Kathy Baker, Greg Boerger, Lori Boerger, Sherri Banks, Janet Leiker; 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Paul (Donita) Boerger; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband John Charles Boerger, son LeRoy Boerger, granddaughter Deborah Gunther, son-in-law Wayne Hanna, parents H.M. and Anna Allen, brothers Tom Allen, Don Allen, Harry Allen, Dwight Allen and an infant baby sister. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 22, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services will be held 11 a.m., January 23, at Pleasant Valley Church, 12002 W. 109th N. ( and N. 119th St W.), Bentley (Sedgwick), Kansas. Graveside following the service at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley, Kansas.
