DONNA MAE (SCHWERDTFEGER) PHILLIPS
, 95, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. She was born in Woods County, Oklahoma to Henry Fredrick and Phoebe Eleanor (Dickey) Schwerdtfeger. Donna was a resident in the Valley Center area for 65 years, and was a member of Grace Connections Church for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert R. Phillips; brother, Virgil Schwerdtfeger, sisters, Alice Benton and Margaret 'Peg' Thompson. Donna is survived by her brother, Orlie Schwerdtfeger, sister, Eleanor Ring; daughters, Karen (Gary) Nye, Connie (Scott) Jaynes, Nancy (Clarence) Rose, Robbie (Chuck) Thomas, and Trudy (Tom) Strunk; 10 grandchildren, Patrick Nye, Kary (Emily) Nye, Jeffry (Adriane) Jaynes, Karlee (Fernando) Martinez, Natalie (Bryce) Brown, Bradley (Victoria) Rose, Andy (Lindsay) Thomas, Kelly Thomas, Christina (Ambrose) Hill and Tim (Cheyenne) Strunk; 18 great-grandchildren, plus one arriving any day! Kaleb, Gage, Brock, Ben, Will, Kadee, Rafael, Karina, Simon, Samuel, Dean, Maddox, Zion, Okalani, Leah, Mason, Cora and Harrison.
Memorials
may be designated in her memory to the Grace Connections Church, 300 N. Ash Ave., Valley Center, Kansas 67147.
Visitation
5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, May 24, and
Service
10:00 am, Friday, May 25; both will be held at Grace Connections Church, 300 N. Ash, Valley Center, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
