Donna Arlene (Jantz) Phillips, 85, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019.

85, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born in Durham, Kansas to Ben B. Jantz and Alma (Johnson) Jantz. She was a graduate of Durham High School. She married the love of her life, Jere Lee Phillips on July 17, 1954 in Tampa, Kansas. They moved to Wichita, Kansas where they raised their children in the Wichita, Maize and Valley Center area. They attended First Baptist of Maize for many years. She loved gardening, traveling and trips to the casino, but her greatest love and devotion was to her family.

She is preceded by her husband Jere Phillips, son Ricky D. Phillips, parents Ben and Alma Jantz, siblings: Fiennes Jantz, Manford Jantz, Geneva Stucky, Delores Richert, Sharon Wisdom and Flora Jean Carlson. Donna is survived by her son Harry 'Jim' (Rhonda) Phillips of Wichita; daughter Cindy (Maurice) Leap of El Dorado; grandchildren James (Mary) Leap, Lisa (Orrin) Gray, Julie (Marty) Skaer and Karen Kissinger; great grandchildren Parker, Paxton, Preston, Lily, Liam, Lincoln, Evangeline and Emeric Gray, Colten, Anna and Chisum Skaer, Dakota and Harley Kissinger; brothers Gerald (Judith) Jantz and Ken (Jacquelyn) Jantz; sisters Evelyn Potts, Joan Huntoon and Shirley Branch; many relatives and friends.

Services will be held on 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019 with visitation before the service at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas. Graveside following at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in her memory to Hynes Memorial Hospice 313 S. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67202.
