Obituary

Donna Marie Davis, 73, of Augusta, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 28, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1953, in Pensacola, Florida, to Elmer and Doneta Henning.

Donna dedicated many years of her career to Textron Aviation, where she worked as a document processor. She retired in 2017, beginning a new chapter of life filled with the people, activities, and experiences she loved.

Donna had a joyful spirit and a love for dancing. She especially enjoyed belly dancing with Amira’s Dance Studio, where she shared her enthusiasm, energy, and love of movement with others. Her vibrant personality, warm heart, and zest for life will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Donna is survived by her siblings: Allan Henning and wife, Chris; Terry Henning and wife, Yolanda; Joseph Henning; David Henning; Lori Igo and husband, Kevin; and Edward Henning and wife, Marcy.

She is also survived by her children: sons Jeffrey Corbett and Daniel Corbett and his wife, Crystal Brown; and daughter Stacey Wilson and her husband, Hillard Wilson.

Donna leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Alexis Monroe and her husband, Jonathon Monroe; Jacob Corbett; Haley Wilson; Heidi Bodkin; Gracie Corbett; and Hayden Wilson. great granddaughter, Kamryn Monroe. many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Malcolm Link, and her parents, Elmer and Doneta Henning.

Donna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on through the love she shared, the lives she touched, the joy she brought to others, and the family she cherished so dearly.

Celebration of Life will be held on October 4, 2026, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at The Cottage, 8720 S. Hoover Rd, Haysville, KS 67060
