DONALYN MARIE (PURKEY) ARBUCKLE, 'DONI' , age 48, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was born in Newton, Kansas to Donald Victor Purkey and Marjorie (Duncan) Purkey. She was a 1988 graduate of Valley Center High School. After graduation Doni went on to Cosmetology School where she became a hairdresser cosmetologist and she enjoyed making others look beautiful. She worked at Cintas as a First Aid & Safety Sales Rep for 14 years. She loved family time and being at all her son Landon's events. Doni is survived by her son, Landon Arbuckle; sister Linda (Jeff) St. Clair of Valley Center; brother Charley Thompson of Halstead; Landon's brother Andrew, Dad Greg & grandparents Barry & Jan Arbuckle of Valley Center; nieces Tori Loffland, Jessica Stong and Megan St. Clair, nephew Jackson Wyatt, and great nephews Henry Stong, Theodore Strong and Charlie Loffland; many other family & friends. She is preceded by her parents Marjorie & Don Purkey, nephew Brodie Thompson and cousin Landon Scott.

In lieu of flowers, may be designated in her memory 'Doni Arbuckle'  for Landon Arbuckle's Education Fund in care of Halstead State Bank, 101 Industrial St., Valley Center, Kansas 67147.

Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com .
