Donald R. Smith, 65, of Valley Center, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born Wednesday, June 29, 1960 in Springfield, Missouri to Donald M. Smith and Beulah Maye (Brown) Smith.  He enjoyed spending time with his family when he could, gardening and spending time with his best friend and companion, his beloved dog.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald M. Smith and a sister Barbara Pettibone.

Donald is survived by his mother Beulah Smith Dahna of Valley Center, sister Faye (Dennis) Dahna of Valley Centerand sister Roberta Ford of Florida, many nieces, nephews, dear friends and his beloved dog Bee. He will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Memorials may be designated in his memory to the family. Per his wishes he decided on cremation and gave family instructions on spreading his ashes.
