DONALD JACOB FARRINGTON , 75, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born in Lebanon, Missouri to George William Farrington and Doris Quinevere (Everett) Farrington. On August 12, 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico he married the love of his life, Charlotte. He was a U.S. Navy and Vietnam War Veteran. Jake worked for TWA / American Airlines. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; daughter, Donna Bartels and husband Steve of Lawson, Missouri; son John Farrington and wife Barbara of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Christopher Norris, Jacob Farrington, Randi Farrington, Joshua Farrington; great grandchildren Adrian Norris and Nora Norris; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father George W. Farrington, mother Doris Quinevere Tingle, step-father William J. Tingle and sister Dolores Conoboy. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 21 at Hillside Christian Church, 8330 E. Douglas, Wichita. Graveside following the service at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
