Emerson, Donald Roy
, 66, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born in Fort Lupton, Colorado to Bud Roy Emerson and Vera Irene (Satterfield) Emerson. He was a graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, Kansas. Don went on and attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. On June 8, 1973 in Concordia, Kansas he married the love of his life, Jeanie. Don worked as a carpenter for the Bunce Corporation. He is survived by his wife Jeanie Emerson; son Donovin Emerson; grandson Tjaden Beeson-Emerson; parents-in-law Glenn and Tootie Johnson; brother-in-law Bill Hughes and his wife Jolene; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Vera Emerson, brother-in-law Harold Hughes and sister-in-law Donita Roche.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 24 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
