DIXIE MAE (MAGEE) HELT, 68, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016. She was born in Bethany, Missouri to Elby Lee Magee and Mildred (Darvy) Magee. On March 25, 1977 at Prairie Village, Kansas, she married the love of her life, R. Dwayne Helt. Dixie enjoyed her family and was a wonderful wife, mom and grandmother. She had worked as an Advertising Specialist for Walmart. She is survived by her husband Dwayne of the home; children Brandy Bachman of Wichita, Johnny Lee and Kimberlee Dearing of Valley Center; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother Elby Magee of Osawatomie; sisters Sandra Wilson of Payola, Kansas and Vada Miller of Drexel, Missouri; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Elby Lee and Mildred Magee. Services held January 6, 2016 at the Prairie Trail Cowboy Church, 8552 S. Broadway, Haysville, Kansas.
