On the morning of July 31, 2016, Dianna Sue (Drake) McDonnell went to be with the Lord at the age of 68. She was born in Neodesha, KS on December 27, 1947.  Throughout her life she brought laughter and happiness to many people, never meeting a stranger. Celebration of her life will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday August 4 ^th at First Church of the Nazarene, 117 W 6 ^th Ave, Augusta, KS. She is survived by her husband, Don McDonnell, mother Phoebe Drake, sister Claudette Feger, brothers David Chaffin and Dennis Drake, children Derek (Erin Hurlburt), Denise (Randy Smith), Tricia (Danny Stufflebean), Lisa (Kelly Murray), Kevin Hurlburt and Carrie Hurlburt. She was very proud of her 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Due to her love of animals a memorial has been established with Hickory Hollow Animal Refuge Foundation 14297 SE Cole Creek Rd, Leon, KS 67042.
