Dennis Joe Zimmerman, 64, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Valley Center, Kansas. He was born in Colby, Kansas to Cloyd Leo and Rose Marie (Leiker) Zimmerman.

He enjoyed fishing, photography, amateur radio, and was a die-hard Chiefs fan. Dennis had recently retired and was looking forward to traveling. His greatest love was his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kim, both his parents Cloyd & Rose, and older twin brothers Darrel & Duane.

Dennis is survived by his sons, Joshua (Kristal) and Jacob, both of Wichita, his brother Steve of Haysville, his sisters Robin Garrison of Russellville, MO, Teresa Rose (Glenn) of Wichita and Angie Crawford (Harold) of Republic, MO, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be held on 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20th at Heritage Baptist Church, 13500 W. 13th St. N, Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.
