DENNIS COLEMAN BLAIR , 70, of Wichita, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born September 2, 1946, to Boyd and Mildred Blair. He was a 1964 graduate of Quinter High School. Dennis served four years in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman, 13 months of which were spent in Vietnam as a field medic with the 1st medical battalion in the 1st Marine Division. After returning home, he graduated from Fort Hays State University with a business degree. He and his wife, JoEva (Ziegler) moved to Wichita to begin his career in insurance and start their family. He is survived by his son, Cory Blair and wife, Ange of Maize; a daughter, Casey Murell and husband, John of Wichita; a brother, Col. Gary Blair and wife, Sheryl of Hays; a sister, Deanne Herman and husband, Gary of Leavenworth; a granddaughter, Hannah; two grandsons, Bryce and Clive; a niece; four nephews and their spouses and children. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, November 18th at Northwest Free Methodist Church, Wichita, Kansas.
