DELBERT  WAYNE  MCKINNEY, 88, retired Love Box Co. Production Manager, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016.  He was born at Derby, Kansas to George Sheldon McKinney and Louetta (Jones) McKinney. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Maxine McKinney; children Mark (Charmaine) McKinney of Portland, OR, David (Lori) Wegley of Olathe, KS, and son-in-law Len Grace of Tupelo, MS; grandchildren, Ryan McKinney, Tyler McKinney, Bryce McKinney, Kevin Grace, John Grace, Lauren Wegley and Robbie Wegley; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn McKinney, daughter Marsha Grace, parents George and Louetta McKinney, brother Sheldon McKinney and sister Pearl Crum. Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 N. Tyler, Wichita. After the service there will be a visitation reception with the family. He will be laid to rest privately at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita, Kansas.
