DEAN RHODES SR., 69, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in El Dorado, Kansas. He was born in Arkansas City to Floyd Daniel and Dorothy Pearl (McBride) Rhodes. He was a retired Foreman for Asplundh Tree Service. He enjoyed many things in life like woodworking, playing pool, but most of all being with his family. Dean is survived by his wife Carol Rhodes; children, Michael (Rebecca) Rhodes, Ray (Shay) Rhodes, Jessica Joseph, Darell (Christina) Sheary and Aliesha Helm; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd Daniel Jr., Donald Ray, Dave, Dale, Dennis and Dick Rhodes; sisters, Darlene Rhodes, Diana Whitson and Delores Bowman; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Dean Rhodes Jr., his parents, siblings Joe Bert Rhodes and Delphine Rhodes. Services will be held at a later date. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge.
