David Irwin Smith, 32, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. He was born in Coffeyville, Kansas and taken from us too early in life in Wichita, Kansas.  Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Cedar Pointe Church, 9221 E. 31 ^st St. S., Wichita, Kansas. Graveside will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas.

David enjoyed being a landscaper and construction handyman. His love for burning rubber (street racing), fishing and helping others were passions for him.  Yet his greatest love, passion and enjoyment was his family who he spent time with.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Shelbe Smith, children Ryleigh, Hunter and Princess, parents Randy and Pam Edwards, brother Sidney Stout, sisters Jessica (Ed) Stevens, Tammy (Steve) Jarrell, Emily (Scott) Peterson and Cyndi Patterson, grandmother Marlene Moreland, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Tusten "Tuz" Edwards, grandpa Irwin Moreland, grandpa George Edwards and aunt Daphne Emert.
