David Matthew Sloan, 63, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Frances Charlene Sloan and Walter L. Sloan.  Raised in the Valley Center, Kansas area where he attended school and was a 1978 graduate of Valley Center High School. After graduation he attended WSU. He was gifted in his career choice as a Graphics Designer.  He also enjoyed coin collecting, woodworking and carpentry.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Randy Sloan and Richard Sloan.

David is survived by his parents, his brother Chris Sloan, his sister Frances (Deanne) Phillips, niece Katrina Maskaid and nephew David Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be designated in his memory to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67219.
