David G. Senger , 72, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. David was born June 6, 1943, in East Grand Forks, Minn. He retired in 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hazel Senger; brother, Allen Senger; father-in-law, Elmer Laas; brother-in-law, Dale Augustine; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Lembke Laas. David is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Laas, of the home; daughter, Nichole Senger and future son-in-law, Craig Hull, of Brighton, Colo.; mother-in-law, Mary Laas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Anita Phye, Larry Laas, David Simmons and Carol Augustine, all of Salina, and Doug and Renee Laas, of Brookville; 10 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and -nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in Bavaria Cemetery. A remembrance celebration will follow at Sandstone Saloon, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray medical and funeral expenses.
