David R. Jacob, 90, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 in Newton, Kansas. He was born Sunday, May 6, 1934 to Beatrice and George Jacob in Wichita, Kansas.  He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Bentley, Kansas where he loved playing basketball on the high school team.  On January 20, 1953 he was united in marriage to Carol Boerger. They celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary this past January.

David was involved in farming and feeding cattle his whole life. He is survived by his wife Carol,  two children Steve Jacob and Kathryn Baker, 2 grandsons and 3 great grandsons; many other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carolyn Foutch.

Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 13530 W. 109th St. N., Bentley, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life honoring David will be held at the Bentley Senior Community Center, 504 E. Sterling, Bentley, Kansas following the graveside.
