David William Brinkmeyer, 36, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.  He was born in Newton, Kansas to Dwight and Donna Brinkmeyer.  Being raised in the Park City area he attended Chisholm Trail Elementary and then Sedgwick Middle School. The family then moved to Fall River, Kansas where he graduated from Eureka High School. David had always been an Honor Roll student at the top of his class and highest scoring student ever. But he told his Mom that when they moved he was not going to be the smartest kid any more, and his senior year he wasn't.  He also worked in a small parts place for aircraft in Wichita. He enjoyed the outdoors, recently going on a float trip, hiking at the lake, boating, fishing with his family. David loved watching his sons play football, basketball and whatever sports they were involved in.

He is preceded in death by his mother Donna Brinkmeyer, grandparents Bill & Nadine Brinkmeyer, Wilber & Sally Herron, aunt Suzie Kernes, and uncle David Herron.

David is survived by his dad Dwight Brinkmeyer; brothers Brent (Brandy) Brinkmeyer and Shannon (Megan) Brinkmeyer; his sons Haydn, Teagn, Logan, Hudson and Noah; nephews and nieces, Tyler, Alexee, Xander, Christian, Brenna and Lily; great nephew Legend; aunts Rebecca Brinkmeyer, Vicky Brinkmeyer, Ruth Hakim and Dianne Barnes; uncles Eddie Turner, Mark Herron and Lester Herron; many other family and friends.

Visitation with family and Viewing will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 15 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday July 29th at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside will follow at the Kechi Township Cemetery 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219.
