Darrell D Rankin, 78, went home to Jesus November 2, 2021. He was born on October 26, 1943 to Kenneth and Frances(Tucker) Rankin in Ashland, Kansas. After graduation he attended and received his Bachelor's degree from K-State University. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pam Rankin, two children - Jeff (Dee) Rankin and Lisa (Rick) Simmons, eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters (all of Valley Center), and his sister Carolyn (Kip) Coulter of West Richland, WA, many other family and friends.

Service will be held at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 am. No graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers family would appreciate donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
