Daniel W. Bahl passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Via Christi Village, Wichita Kansas. He was was born March 11, 1944; one of six sons born to William and Geraldine Bahl. Dan grew up in the McCook, Nebraska area where he graduated from McCook High School. He married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart Jane Malleck on May 1, 1964. To this union, Dan and Jane had three children: Christine, Brenda and Austin. They lived and raised their family in Lincoln, Nebraska. In retirement, Dan and Jane resided in the McCook, Nebraska and Park City, Kansas.

Preceding him in death was his wife Jane (Malleck) Bahl, son Austin James, parents William and Geraldine Bahl, and brother John Bahl.

Dan is survived by his daughters, Christine Wolff (Timothy) and Brenda Schmidt (Mike); grandchildren Andrew, Jarod and Tyler Schmidt, and Savannah Wolff; brothers Tom Bahl (Midge), Tim Bahl (Laurie), Phil Bahl (Patricia), and Roch Bahl (Vickie); along with many other loving family members and friends.

Dan will be missed by many.  Funeral Rosary 9:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., March 7, 2020 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Indianola, Nebraska. Graveside following at the St. Catherine's Cemetery.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
