Cynthia Dean (Cindy) Bird of Park City, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020, at home after an extended time in Hospice care. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, February 27, 1958. A private family memorial service was held.

She was preceded in death by her son, James M. (Jimmy) Bowers; her brother, Tony Sly; both her maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her parents, Mike and Trudy Sly of Bel Aire, KS; brothers, Michael (Christina) Sly of Cheyenne, WY, and Dave (Jamie) Sly of Edmond, OK; a sister, Laura Mewes of Park City, KS; aunts, Bettye Russell of Lawton, OK, and Kathy (Gary) Palmer of Silver Lake, NH; an uncle, Merrill (Audrey) Kenyon of Los Alamos, NM; many nieces, nephews, cousins and several lifelong friends.

Cindy worked in the medical field most of her working life, first as an EMT and later with several different doctors. She enjoyed playing pool and crocheting. She loved her big dog, Kaden, so very much. She will be missed by so many.
