Crystal Barnes was born on August 9 ^th 1941 in Wichita Kansas. While growing up in Wichita she met Edward Palmer and fell in love. The two were married on May 25 ^th 1957 and had 3 children. During this time, Ed and Crystal traveled with their children while he was in the Marine Corp. Crystal's favorite place to be was in Oceanside, California enjoying the sunshine. In 1982 Crystal and Ed settled down for good in Halstead, Kansas. They spent their later years together enjoying and watching their grandchildren grow and have families of their own. Crystal enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband Ed passed away in March of 2015 and Crystal spent her remaining years living next door to her daughter Cheryl and enjoying every day they could be together. You would never see her without a smile on her face and asking you if you needed anything and how you were doing. She is greatly missed by many. On January 9 ^th 2021 she left this earth to join the love of her life in Heaven.
