PARK CITY, KANSAS
Cross, Clifford Kenneth "Gus" 91, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and best friend to many, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Services will be held at Kechi United Methodist Church, 4533 E. 61st N., Kechi, Kansas on Monday, August 14, 2017. Viewing will be at 10:30 followed by the service at 11:00 am, followed by graveside service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. He is survived by his loving wife, Faith, sons, Craig, (wife Mary), Jay, and Barry, (wife Rebecca), grandchildren, Aaron, Michelle, Brianna, Justin, and Connor. Great grandchildren, Makenzie, and Harrison, sister, Eugenia, brother, Cecil, and many nieces and nephews that loved him like a father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Freida Cross, brothers, Allen, and Don, and sisters Margaret and Grace.
Clifford was born in Sylvan Grove Kansas, on May 5, 1926. He married the love of his life, Faith Joyce Decker, on March 6, 1948. Cliff was a proud Marine Veteran, having served in World War II. He moved to Park City, Kansas in 1957 and began a long career at Cross Auto Salvage, followed by the City of Park City for 10 years until retirement. After retirement he worked with the grounds crew at both Echo Hills Golf Course, and Kechi Township Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.
