Clifford LeRoy Blis s , 58, of rural Bentley, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Ascension-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Clifford is the son of Ferrell O. Bliss & Linda J. (Swank) Becker. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas and graduated from Canton-Galva High School in 1979. After high school, Clifford spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy, specializing in Telecommunications. He spent a lot of his life working in the Telecommunications industry with Siemens Corporation & Birch Telecom. Most recently he worked at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wichita doing maintenance, where he thoroughly enjoyed the staff and members he was around daily. He could always be found at 81 Speedway on the weekends watching the dirt track races and even recently trying to get a race car of his own on the track. Clifford loved his granddaughters and spoiling them every chance he could. He loved taking care of farm animals, building things himself, and helping anyone in need. Clifford was always proud of how many children he helped raise throughout his life, including step children: Zac, Cody, Austin, Seth & Misty, Bobby, Tiffany, Holly, Kenny.

Clifford is survived by his daughter, Kylee Bliss (Jason Heape); son, Travis Bliss (Bethany); four granddaughters, Macie (Kylee) & Bailey, Jaiden, Madilyn (Travis); brother, Danny Bliss; nephew, Kenton Bliss; niece, Kassidy Hett(Bliss); step-brothers, Dirk Becker & Dan Becker; lifelong friend, Shelly Bliss; and many friends and extended family.  Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Ferrell and Linda, and his step-father, Glenn Becker.

Celebration of Life Services for friends and family will be held at the Bentley Eagle Senior Center (504 E Sterling St in Bentley, KS) on Saturday, November 2 from 12-2pm. This will be a casual come and go gathering with food/drinks provided.
