Roe, Claudene Doris (Friend), 88, retired business owner, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She was born in Walla Walla, Washington to Claude William Friend and Olive Rowena (Miller) Friend. She was a graduate of Lady Smith High School in Wisconsin. She met the love of her life and married Bill Roe on December 17, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas. Bill and Claudene worked their business together for many years. She enjoyed her family, appreciating the time they spent together. Claudene is survived by her husband Bill; children Claudette and Mike Wilmott of Valley Center; grandchildren Michael and Ashley Wilmott of Wichita, Chad and Stephanie Wilmott of Rose Hill; great grandson Hank Wilmott.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 8 and Services 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, both held at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside will follow the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
