Obituary

Claude Edward Johnson age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home in Park City, Kansas. Claude was born in Buffalo, Wilson County, Kansas to Claude Jamison Johnson and Velma Mae (Moss) Johnson. He started school in Fredonia, Kansas. As a young man he worked as a farm hand for Alva Mayeske of New Albany. He first married Gladys "Lucy" (Cloniger) White on February 12,1962 at Paola, Kansas. They lived in Kansas City where Claude went to school and became a machinist. Lucy died of an aneurysm. He married Linda Darleen Loveland in 1973 in Humbolt, Kansas. They divorced in 1981. He married Joyce Ann Troy in 1984 in Wichita, Kansas. They separated in 1985. He married Edith (Stockdale) Ensign on August 6, 1989 at Kechi, Kansas. Claude and Edith met while working at the Carlson Company on north Broadway, Wichita, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond Johnson, a nephew, Jesse R. Johnson. He is survived my his wife of the home, brother Kenneth Stanislaus of Goddard, 4 neices; a step daughter Michelle Babcock of Independence, Kansas. Three step children Leanna Greenfeather, Darren A. Wilcox, and Jennifer Acevedo live in Wichita.

A private burial will be held at Benton, Kansas Cemetery. Memorials in his memory may be designated to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67219. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
