Christopher Mark Bullock age 57 passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.  He was born in Odessa, Texas on June 18, 1964.  Chris attended school in Derby and Phillipsburg, Kansas. After the untimely death of his father, Chris developed a lifetime friendship with Rolf Halstensen through the Big Brother program, he was also became very close to his uncle, Ken Bullock.

Chris never knew a stranger and always had a joke to tell.  Before he became disabled he enjoyed traveling. He had a keen interest in geography and love of animals.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bullock.

Chris is survived by his mother Mary and stepfather Loyal Smith of Newton, KS; daughter Krista (Michael) Shea of Mankato, KS; uncle Kenneth Bullock of Independence, MO; brothers Kelvin Bullock of Hays, KS and Jim (Lisa) Cude of Fall River, KS; sisters Karen (Mike) Runnion of Glade, KS and Kathy (Jamie) Whisenhunt of Seligman, MO; grandchildren Vincent & Mika Joyce of Mankato, KS; 5 nephews and nieces, 7 great nephews and nieces.

Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, at Olliff-Boeve Chapel in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He will be laid to rest at Marvin Cemetery, Glade, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Purple Paws Animal Welfare Society.
