CHRIS ALLEN FREEMAN
, 57, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was born in Wellington, Kansas to Errol and Penny Freeman. He was a graduate of Sedgwick High School Class of 1979. Chris married the love of his life, Pamela McKinley on May 20, 1990. His love and enjoyment of Volkswagens started early. He was introduced to them working for his uncle's shop during summers and following high school graduation. Later, he worked for Gorges & Wittmann and then Scholfield Pontiac here in Wichita. He was gifted in many areas; working as a mechanic, farming in western Kansas, roofing, framing and remodeling. Chris enjoyed visiting with friends and family, fishing, camping, working on his VW bug, day trips with his wife and traveling. Chris is survived by his wife Pamela Freeman, sons Austin (Ashley) Freeman of Denver, CO, Allen (Cherish) Freeman of Wichita; godson, Florentino (Tino) Vargas of Bentley; mother Penny Freeman of Rose Hill; brother Todd (Johnna) Freeman of Rose Hill; sisters Tammy Venn of Hillsboro, Carla Grindstaff of Hesston; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad Errol Preston, sister Crystal Duran, grandparents Skip and Otis Patheal, Joel and Neva Freeman.
