CHESTER  'CHET'  L.   LOWE was 81 years old. He died Monday, October 7, 2019 surrounded by family and friends at home. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Norman J. Lowe and Eva Esther (Lawrence) Lowe. Chet graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1957. He completed tailoring classes from Hutchinson Junior College in 1959, and became a full-time tailor. Chet married Jeanne Gates in 1960 they had three daughters, Julie, Cheryl and (Bonnie Jean who is deceased).  By trade he was known as Chet the tailor, who kept customers in stitches with alterations and also his sense of humor. (He always had a joke). Chet's greatest love was to serve his God Jehovah and help others learn the true bible hope. He ministered to his customers, neighbors, family and friends. To anyone who wanted to listen. Chet often donated the services of his business to help people in full-time ministry, traveling overseers, ones with reduce circumstances. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses he had spiritual oversight in several congregations. A privilege and highlight was his travels to the McPherson Congregation which he served a total of 21 years. Many think of Chet and Jeanne as parents and grandparents.

Survivors include his wife Jeanne Lowe, daughters, Julie and Cheryl; sisters MaryJean and Sarah; eight grandchildren, Cara, Jacob, Abram, Rachel, Katherine, Jairus, Jehonadab, Marsadies; also 8 great grandchildren Jordis, Triston, Skylynn, Addley, Emily, Jordan, Emerson, Amethyst; many other family and friends. He is preceeded in death his daughter Bonnie Jean; parents Norman and Eva Lowe, brothers Marcus, Charles, Norman (Severn)  and sister Norma (Jerelean).
