Kuntz, Chester Alvin, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was born October 17, 1928 in Pratt, Kansas, son of Chester Lloyd and Dale (Harvey) Kuntz. He married Wilma Bruner on January 11, 1953 and recently celebrated sixty years of marriage. Chet is survived by his wife, Wilma, sons, Russell Jay Kuntz and Ronald Richard Kuntz, and their wives Salli and Sean Marie Holloway, respectively, and grandson Kevin. Chet served his country in the Navy Construction Battalion from 1950 to 1954. He enjoyed watching and participating in various sports throughout his life and passed on his passion for sports to his sons as a coach and mentor. Giving back to his community was always important to Chet, so he became a volunteer fireman in Paso Robles, CA and a member of the American Legion Templeton Post #220. Traveling the back roads to take in the beauty of America with his family was another passion of Chet's. He loved his family and was a devoted husband and father.
