CHARLES ALBERT ULREY
'CHARLIE'
of Hutchinson, Kansas, age 79, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. He was born in Cushing, Oklahoma to Francis Alonzo Ulrey and Maxine Rosella (McCoy) Ulrey. He was a graduate of Cushing High School, Cushing, Oklahoma. He was an OTR Trucker for years and a Securitas Security Guard. He married first Wilma (Hubbard) Ulrey Crawford, and to this union were 4 children born. Secondly, he married Darlene Dawn (Cork) Ulrey. He enjoyed playing Bingo, the slots, eating out and sports. He was a very giving, respectful, loving father and grandpa. He is survived by his children, Francis (Robin) Ulrey, Charles (Trisha) Ulrey, Shelly (Robert) Smith, Cheryl (Gerry) Young and Marlene Evans; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother Donald Ulrey and sister Billie F. Berry. He is preceded in death by his wife Darlene Ulrey, sister Mary Alice Fenton, stepchildren Frank McKinnis and Linda Graham. Service will be Sunday, July 9th, 1:30 p.m. at the Mennonite Friendship Chapel, 600 W. Blanchard, South Hutchinson, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge.
