CHARLES  DEAN  SMITH, SR. , 64, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Charlie and Bettie (Sipes) Smith. He worked many years in construction as a roofer. Charles is survived by his wife of 43 years, Darlene; children, Robert Herrick of Wichita, Shannie (Charles) Sims of Morgantown, Kentucky, Cheryl German of Wichita, Charles Dean Smith, Jr., Natasha (Larry) Gilliland of Hanston; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Celebration of His Life will be held 2-4 p.m., Saturday, February 6, at the Church Today Ministries, 3161 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, Kansas.
