MAIZE
Charles E. Shull, 81, retired St. Francis Hospital Supervisor of Patient Accounts, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday, March 7, 2014. He was born at Uniontown, Kansas, the youngest child of Lee and Mamie (Steele) Shull. He married Evelyn (Ater) on May 6, 1951 at the Ater farm in Hiattville, Kansas. He served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955 as an airman. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; daughters Loretta (Joe) George of Uniontown, Ks, Lori Young (Jorge Carmona) of Wichita, Lisa (Alan) Hill of Cheney, Lynnette (Jack) Scott of Maize; grandchildren Jason George of San Antonio, TX, Nate (Tiffany) George of Pittsburg, KS, Allison Smith of Wichita, Adam (Anne) Dienst-Scott of Omaha, NE, April (Justin) Morgan of Tulsa, OK, Austin Scott, Annie Scott, Ben Hill, Shelby Hill, all of Wichita, KS, Cameron Hill of Cheney, KS; great grandchildren AJ Smith, Elijah Smith, Adeline and Oona Dienst-Scott, Gunner and Gabby George and baby Morgan due in April. He is preceded in death by his grandson John Young. Charles was an avid fisherman, had a dry sense of humor and was a devoted fan of his grandkids sports. He will be greatly missed by each of us. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 10 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7901 W. 21st N., Wichita, Ks. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center.
