CHARLES  DUANE  SHEPHERD , 78, retired Boeing Aircraft Sheet Metalist, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born in Kingman, Kansas, to 'Bert' Clifford Cook Shepherd and Vivian (Sedberry) Shepherd. The family lived in Kingman County and then moved to the Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas area. He served in the United States Air Force 1956 to 1958. He is survived by his son Charles 'Van' (Kelly) Shepherd; grandchildren Andrew Shepherd and Lindsy (Bruce) Hayden; great grandson Landon Hayden; mother Vivian Roundy; sister Carolyn Roundy; brother Rod (Rose) Roundy; nephew Russell Roundy; nieces Renee Cebery, Raeanne Crawford; other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Bert Shepherd. Service 11 am, Saturday, April 28, at Greenwood Cemetery, southeast corner of intersection SE 60 ^th and SE 70 ^th Ave., Kingman County, Kansas (just north of Belmont).
