CHARLES W. McCLURE, JR

Charles W. McClure Jr., of Park City, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on January 3, 1946, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, to Charles Walter and Evelyn Pauline (Martin) McClure.

Charles served his country in the United States Army. He dedicated many years of hard work to Vim Trailers and later continued his career as a CDL driver for a cement truck company until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and devotion to his family.

Charles and Donna celebrated 60 years of marriage last year — a remarkable milestone built on a lifetime of memories, perseverance, and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Donoho) McClure; his daughter, Kimberly Jackson and husband Dan of Rogers, Arkansas; his son, Craig McClure of Valley Center, Kansas; his grandchildren, Danielle (Jesse), Tyler (Ginny), Trenton, and Trista; seven great grandchildren; his sister, Sharon Reu and his nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter-in-law, Monica McClure; and his brother, Randy McClure.

Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate his life.
