WICHITA, KANSAS
CHARLES W. JOHNSON, 'CHUCK'
, 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was born in Belvidere, Tennessee to Raymond C. Johnson and Sara Kathleen (Williams) Johnson. Chuck served our country for 8 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Veteran. He was a master electrician, owned and operated C.W. Johnson Electrical here in Wichita, Kansas. He enjoyed being a pilot, drag racing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly, his children Brenda Cox, Mark (Tammy) Johnson and Melynda (Troy) Dryden, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. He was a graduate of Franklin High School. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, July 6 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center, followed by burial at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center has charge. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.
